Description

A multifunctional cereal, we are talking about barley! Cultivated all over the world, barley is a revolutionary cereal that has seen the birth of the beginnings of agriculture. In fact, it has been feeding people since ancient times. Today, barley is used for many purposes. It is used to produce beer, its stems are used to produce hay... But it can also be used to enhance your creations! Recognizable thanks to its very bearded ears, barley is the element to have in the realization of country compositions. At a wedding, for example, barley can be incorporated into an arch of dried and stabilized flowers, table decorations, flower crowns and even the bride's bouquet. DIY professionals can also take advantage of its atypical appearance to use it in their creations, a flower arrangement under a bell for example. Barley also embellishes plant walls or flower frames. To accompany barley, you can use its similar, emblematic cereals such as dry wheat or dry oats. You can mix styles with dried flowers such as dry delphiniumdry acroclinium and dry glixia. To vary the designs, many colors are available, from natural color to light green, through orange, red, black and pink. We love the black/natural color which will make your creation elegant and unique. Phocealys barley is 100% European, it comes straight from France, Italy and Holland.

General recommendations

Dried flowers require minimal maintenance. Phocealys advises you :

  • Do not expose your dried flowers directly to the sun, as direct exposure could damage the colour of your bouquets
  • To remove dust from your dried bouquets, wipe them lightly with a cloth to avoid damaging them. You can also use a hairdryer, as long as the air is cold and you do not blow too close to the bouquet

If you follow these tips, your dried flowers will last almost forever!
