Description
The poppy is a plant from the Papaveraceae family, it shares this same family of plants with the very famous poppy. In its dried state, the poppy has very long stems at the end of which is placed an unopened flower, forming a ball closed by a crown and sheltering its seeds. The poppy is an excellent element in bouquets of dried and stabilized flowers thanks to its unique and very original aspect. Perched on its long stems, the poppy gives great breadth and relief to your creations. By detaching its head, you can also use the poppy in various DIY creations, flower crowns, vials and dried flower bells. Poppy heads also look great in floral arches, table decorations, a great element in wedding decorations, especially weddings with a country feel. To combine the poppy with other species of plants, nothing better than dried flowers such as dry oats, tea tree or briza segro. You can also combine it with stabilized plants, stabilized heather, gypsophila or diosmi are perfect examples. For different styles, several colors are available. You can find the natural color of poppy in our catalog but also red, light green, orange, pink and creamy white. Phocealys poppies are 100% European and come directly from Italy, Spain and Holland.

General recommendations
Dried flowers require minimal maintenance. Phocealys advises you :
- Do not expose your dried flowers directly to the sun, as direct exposure could damage the colour of your bouquets
- To remove dust from your dried bouquets, wipe them lightly with a cloth to avoid damaging them. You can also use a hairdryer, as long as the air is cold and you do not blow too close to the bouquet
